ENROLLMENT OVERVIEW

Altura Preparatory School is public and tuition-free. We welcome everyone to attend and there are no admissions requirements. The Altura Prep enrollment period falls between November and April. An open, public lottery will be held on the second Friday in April every year for each grade level for which there are more enrollment forms than seats available. Families of students accepted in the lottery will have until the third Friday in April to accept their spot(s), and until April 30th to complete registration paperwork.

 Per state statute, enrollment preference is given to siblings of students already attending Altura Prep and to children of school staff members. Students who are already enrolled for a grade level are automatically entered for the next school year after families submit re-enrollment forms. Families of currently enrolled students do not need to submit a new application each year. These are the only lottery preferences at Altura Prep.
